Finally got to test the King Neptune rooftop bag. Used it on our roof racks, travelling to the Berg. It was easy to get up and packed. Stayed on like a charm, and survived a typical Drakensberg storm and all the bags are bone dry Well done! An update on the review. Have used the bag probably 10 times now and still works great. I have since purchased two boards (had them cut at a local hardware store) that fit perfectly in the base of the bag and provide structure for the roof racks. This made a huge improvement and provided good stability, I would recommend this if you are using the bag on roof racks.

I absolutely love my King Neptune Roof Luggage cargo carrier! I traveled from North-West to KZN with 5 passengers including a Wheelchair, walkers, and mobility shower chair. My 3x3m Gazebo, camping chairs plus our luggage easily fit into the bag. Allowing us to travel in comfort inside the car. I was concerned about the extra weight and fuel consumption, but the effect of the carrier was minimal. I would strongly recommend this product, the slip-mat which is included is also very effective.
I got my carrier within 1 day of purchase and the product is excellently packaged and come with a hand storage bag. Made of durable weatherproof material that can take a punch. would Definity recommend
The King Neptune car roof pack is very well made and fits a lot of luggage (5 people's tog bags and bedding at least). It also folds up really small and so is very easy to store, when I'm not using it. We used it on a road trip on the weekend and although we drove through the rain our bags all remained 100% dry. It is a lot cheaper and more convenient than other rigid roof boxes and trailers and you don't even need to have roof racks - I would definitely recommend this car roof luggage bag.
